The Regional Indigenous Fashion and Textiles Showcase [RIFTS] is a sustainable Indigenous event that showcases and provides opportunities for Indigenous fashionistas, designers, and models from throughout regional Queensland.

In it's sixth year the event is a grassroots event that places an important sustainability emphasis on the Indigenous showcase that has been very broadly supported by local fashion retailers and our local far northern community. To date [RIFTS] has existed without government funding or support showing the true commitment by all involved.

This has made RIFTS stand out from the crowd and add a valuable product to the local community of Far North Queensland and our in-kind contributors.

Each year we have gone from strength to strength and 2017 is no different, with over 12 designers and 32 models the Regional Indigenous Fashion and Textile Showcase is bigger and better than previous years and importantly shows to our young models and designers that anything is possible through true dedication.
